Gabriel Meranze Levitt, Founder, Director

Gabriel (USA citizen) has lived in Vietnam since 2009 and has developed a wealth of experience training, and managing domestic help. Over the years he has gained an intimate understanding of what can go wrong from the expat customers' perspective in domestic service provision. He also knows what it means to be on the receiving end of excellent domestic service and strives to make this the DP customer experience.
He is passionate about making the expat experience in Vietnam as comfortable as possible for fellow expats while helping Vietnamese society become better off in the process.
Previous to DP, Gabriel worked as a livelihoods specialist for the international development organization Pact in Vietnam. He developed a solid reputation for assisting wherever business could be harnessed to empower lower income earners and link individuals to effective market driven vocational training options. Through this work, he learned extensively about the challenges facing women made vulnerable from limited education and employment options throughout Vietnam, along with the components and approaches needed to make vocational training an effective life changing tool. During this time he was also an integral part of the managing team of the Vietnam Social Entrepreneurs Club which was an active forum for social enterprise development in Northern Vietnam.
Gabriel earned his MBA in international development from Thunderbird School of Global Management and is fluent in English, Vietnamese, Spanish and Thai.

Nguyen Thao Dan, Founder

Thao Dan (Vietnam citizen) has successfully managed many domestic helpers in her professional life and knows what it takes to motivate domestic helpers to embody excellence. Thao Dan has a keen understanding of the unique domestic help needs of expats in Ho Chi Minh City.
Previous to DP, Thao Dan managed and built the capacity of a large team of analysts who were dedicated to researching commodities, providing financial data and research services for Nextcom, a successful communications start-up company. Prior to that, Thao Dan worked with the Corporate Banking Department of ANZ Bank, the Equity Research Department at Dragon Capital Fund Management Firm and the Finance Department of Huu Lien Asia Steel Joint Stock Company in HCMC. Thao Dan is skilled in IT, accounting, financial analysis, reporting, customer relations and team motivation.
Thao Dan earned her bachelor degree from the National University of Singapore and is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
